Dear families,
In an effort to accommodate visitors over Family Weekend (Friday, 9/22 - Sunday, 9/24) the guest sign in limit for residential students will be temporarily increased from three guests to five guests. This change will take effect at 12:00pm on Friday, September 22, and end at 11:00pm on Sunday, September 24. After that, the guest sign in limit returns to three guests per 24 hours.
As a reminder, all guests must be signed in at the CC desk with a valid photo ID by their host. Guests must also have guest profiles in our Guest Registration system. To expedite the guest check-in process during Family Weekend, hosts can submit their guest’s profile ahead of time by visiting www.towson.edu/shg, and clicking on Submit Guest Profile. Hosts will need the following information to complete the form:
· Guest’s First Name – exactly as shown on photo ID
· Guest’s Last Name – exactly as shown on photo ID
· Guest’s Valid Photo ID number – enter the ID number exactly as it is on the photo ID Include all special characters, spaces, and dashes
Guests will still need to show their physical photo ID at the Community Center to complete the check-in process upon arrival. Housing & Residence Life does not accept any form of digital ID, including but not limited to the official State of Maryland digital ID.
If you are planning to visit with your student in the residence hall over Family Weekend, we encourage you to have your student complete the process above to create your Guest Profile. This will speed up the check-in process for you so that you can spend your valuable time with your student!
